    I saw hertz fly over me today and every other day I usuall see vodaphone and kilkenny.The joys of Dublin and of course when Im up at the airport Eircell is still knocking around.

    Formula 1 is still very exciting IMO.There wil ge a british grnad prix next year.That calender at the moment isnt finalised and wont be until later this month.Id almost but every thing on the line and say that a big sponsor will come in and provide the money so they can plaster the place with there name.*cough Emirates

    It amazes me the amount of German charters in and out of Shannon every Saturday.The Shannon airport authority must be doing some good work.
    By the way just to tell you incase you didnt know Aer rianta doesnt excist any more.

    Ye this is not really uncommon.It would have some effect but not much.Ive seen a pic of a SAA 747 with 5 engines now Im sure that would have a effect on the aerodynamics.

    Ye ill get them up soon.Missing the connection was great because Barcelona is a great place to spot and I have every intention og going back there for a weekend or so to do some serious spotting.

    Yup a plane must be able to be evacuated in 90 seconds.Id love to be a volunteer for the first A380 evacuation.

    I cant ever seen EK operating DUB-DUS DXB-DUS already excists lol.

    Aer Lingus have siad that there will be no long haul expansion until 2006 but then they go and start MCO.
    Aer Lingus operate 7 A330s-4×300 and 3×200.
    They have daily flight to ORD and BOS as well as 3 flight a week to LAX in the summer and 2 daily to JFK.A daily SNN-JFK seperate from the DUB.Also daily to BWI and MCO only one operating at a time.
    So to keep operating them EI needs 6 A330s with the LAX plane availabe 4 days so DXB is definiley possible.
    Time will tell.
