This 757 was in DUB this morning in all its beauty, left around 8ish, anyone know why it was here?
Once youve checked in bags with US and are transitting DUB you wont have to pay EI for your bags.
They are 2 aircraft LS leased to BA for the strike, positioning out of LHR with BA call signs.
Lost means lost-gone, you dont get it back!
Airlines may have delayed 25 millions bags but they certainly didnt loose 25 million bags! Tight connections, weather etc are the main causes things really arnt nearly as bad as this suggests!
Ye, I got back in with Servisair after a few weeks.
As far as Im aware Aviance are staying at LHR, its all thier other UK airports they are pulling. They pulled DUB last August which cost me my job.
Air Comet I believe is the most recent Spanish airline to go bust.
Ancient history at this stage, I believe it was May 2008 this happened.
Closer to home Air Contractors will have a passengers 737 based at DUB this summer for charters!
I work in baggage claim and have seen bags covereds in water, alcohol from broken bottles etc but never had this! It must have been someone very incompetent to make this happen!
Blackkettle, the British LOCOs may be cheap but they still dont compare to the Irish one 😉
If you unlucky enough to end upon EI-DUB, it doesnt have PTVs, just screens in the cabin ceilings.
Nice report, some great pictures there.
Link doesnt work.
TLV is going and CAI downgraded to A321 so the ast A330 will operate just on the Saudi routes. I read on another forum that no A319s are going even the leased ones and its A321s and A320s that are going.
