I flew Iberia earlier this month and let me tell you that what they lose in in-flight service they make up in customer service and freindly staff. The last thing I would call Iberia is expensive.i got my ticket for 188 euro DUB-BCN-ALC-BCN-DUB.They are a great airline and I would recommend them to anyone.
danairboy Ill be sitting that exam in march.BTW most airlines are not IATA members.Alot are but certainly not most.
The 732s have been in the fleet since 1994.I flew on 1 of the first ones LPL-DUB it was a BAc111 on the way out.I live very close to DUB so its great to hear them and Ill miss them when they go.I dont think id go on one because I had a dream a few months ago where i got on one and it crashed. It was the Kilkenny logojet in that dream.LOL All those 738s are very boring and so are the EI A320s.If your coming to Dublin bring plenty of spending money.
Are some of those flight DUB-SNN if they are that route is discontinued but still showing on arrivals/departures boards.I read today that Planestation the company who own Kent airport and a 30% stake in EUJet are to take over the whole airline.
OMG who evers idea that was deserves to be sacked.Fools.
Ye cabincrew1 I hope ORK has some future success.Aer Lingus have announced they will base 2 new A320s in ORK and start flight to Rome,Munich,Faro and Nice. They have already started flights to Alicante,Barcelona and Milan this summer.
Im studing travel an tourism at the moment and part of it is Gallileo computeriszed reservation system.I know alot of the IATA 3 letter codes but alot of people dont so having to learn all those 3 letter codes is bad never mind have to learn 4 letter codes.
Im sure the flights to Cork will be a big success.Im pesitmstic about SNN though. It might work for 2 reasons.1.Its Easyjet and 2.London from anywhere can work. However I think itll be a fight between Knock and Shannon to hold onto the flights because they are very close to each other.
just as a matter of interest that taxes at Dublin are 16.81 and Cork are 21.29 Shannon are 20.21 and Knock are 8.01 so I cant see the taxes in Dublin being a factor.
Im an Airbus fan but I do dislike the A321.If my memory serves me correctly LHR-LIS was one of the last routes to be served by 737 from LHR.
What a great report.BMI seem to have an excellent transatlantic package.Pity they cant do them from LHR.By the way Godthab is the capital city of Greenland.
I noticed that on my recent Iberia flights.passengers dont listen. What i also found weird was that although Iberia use video screens for their safety briefing the cabin crew still point out the exits etc but they have 1 in buissness class for 3 or 4 rows of passengers and 1 in at the start of economy for every other row.Would it not be better to space them out or have 3?
EasyJet have removed restrictions on hand baggage weight as long as it doesnt give you a hernia lifting it into the overhead locker.
Iberia state in their Inflight magazine Ronda that passengers cannot consume their own alchohol but doesnt mention anything about food.Just as well.A club sandwich and a can of coke costs 9.50euro.
Its good to see VZ expanding but unfortunatley they are stopping their 2 daily BHX-DUB flights this winter.
Also EUJet are considering scrapping their Shannon-Dublin flights because of slow bookings. This even before the flights have commenced.hate to say it but I said this would happen.I wonder how long Thompsonflys flight to SNN will last.
How much difference is there between FS2000 and FS2004.Im getting a new computer and i wasnt to know is there much difference.
