I dont think Iberia are expensive at all.My family there is 6 of us are travelling to a town just south of Alicante in august. The obvious way to go was direct with Aer Lingus but that would cost us over 2000 euro.Flying with Iberia via Barcelona we saved over a 1000.That is some difference. And that is at a reasonable time not arly or late.I havnt flown during daylight hours in a long time.Ive flown with Iberia before addmitly before money was tight and I found them quite ok.
Ill have an Iberia trip report for you in september so we can compare.
Im not doubting what you expeirenced and just find it hard to belive.
I am a huge Airbus fan.I prefer all airbus aircraft planes over Boeings but nothing in this world compares to the 747-400.There isnt a word tro describe it no matter how hard you look. When i see one all I can say is F***.
One of the newspapers here this morning say it was an American Airlines Jumbo jet.It annoys when these people print things they havnt a clue about.
I think it was attempted I remeber Virgin having no way BA/AA titles on a plane.I doubt this is going to happen both nations are too proud of their national carriers and rightly so.The fact that most people can i dentify the 2 airlines by their initial really proves they are household name all over the world.
Well arnt you a party pooper.LOL only messin Id have thought tha BA would want to concentrate the 744s on LHR and only operate 777s out of LGW but well see.
Maybe if your lucky BA will bring back Concorde and fly them on charters between Birmingham and Alicante wouldnt that be great.:D
Where exactly is Sheffield? and how comes nobody complains about Thompson flying into secondary airports like they do Ryanair people live in the areas Ryanair fly into aswell.IM officially complaining.LOL.Its seems alot of destinations doesnt it are sure they are no the possibilities with a proper list being released soon-Naples and Salzburg sound a bit dodgy espeically during the summer.
One of my freinds is flying to the Dominican Republic this year from Dublin and is stopping in Amsterdam and flying on with KLM maybe you would feel better connecting through a english speaking counrty though.
Are loads usually that low on a Kuala Lumpour-Melbourne flight. One thing if a passenger is flying to Melbourne but they are travelling on to Adeladie can they get off and stay off in Adelaide.Maybe they are two bad cities to compare I dunno so lets say London and Manchester.
If I saw that I would say that BA are very slow in painting their Concordes into new colors.LOL.Imagine if we could see all those 727 and classis 747s flying around and if all those great airlines were still with us.I never really knew Pan Am they were before my time and I was barely fmilar with Sabena and Swissair.
You forgot about Lan Chilie and instead of starting a hole new thread does anybody know when Swiss are joining.
Theres an article in this months airliner world about finnairs DC-9s if anybody is interested.

Aer Lingus used to fly the 747-100 between Dublin and Shannon but only because they had to.This us bi lateral thing is starting to annoy quite few people over here.Imagine here in Ireland we have Air Canada,Continental,Delta and US airways flying domestic flights all with 767 and Aer Lingus With A330s and Id bet alot more people travel between Melbourne and Sydney than Dublin and Shannon.Did you notice how many other people only flew the domestic leg?
I think the bad times are gone and we are heading for some good times again.
