Excellent forst ector and the pics are great aswell. I think what seperates a good airlines from a great airline is somthing you mentioned in your report. You said the flight was calm. LCC short flights are so annoying when you have the crew running up and down trying to get everything done. They need to take a leaf out of the BA book and relax.
My last flight with Iberia was one of the calmest Ive ever had and it was very enjoyable.
The closeure of CIA would have a bigger effect on Ryanair as CIA is one of its biggest bases. So 2 days of clsed airports meens a huge backlog for Ryanair so it is in there best interest that they sort somthing out. Easyjet also have quite a big presence in Rome and no dobut the closeures will leave them with a backlog but perhaps one that would be easier to clean up than the one Ryanair would be left with.
ON positive thing here is that the heads of state flew to CIA and not FCO the busier of the 2. If it had been the UK they probably would have used LHR like they did when G.W.Bush visited.

Well there was a few extra charters put on aswell as the daily Aer Lingus and Alitalia flights. There was a lot of Irish people interviewed on the TV but they havnt given any official figures.

I hope that people who are affected will understand. These must be exceptional circumstances and I dont think there will be much compensation payed out.
Ryanair and EasyJet who I would have expected to moan have kept quite and just accepted that this is an importnat event in history.
