Nice report. Work on the taxiways??? I wonder what that was. Departures were using 34 last night so I wonder was there an incident on 28 which has become quite recently as of late espeically with the ageing 200s still flying about.
Did you find the SkyCafe to be very overpriced???

DTW may be a majoy hub but doenst have half as many connections through from Ireland/UK passengers as EWR does.

Bmused weve had some interesting conversations about Boeing/Airbus on MSN (before you blocked me) will NWA replace the DC-9s with Airbus or Boeing and Im not trying to start a fight,IM interested.

I think NW could turn DTW into a new EWR but perhaps on a smaller scale. What I meen by that is CO have made EWR a major connecting hub by flying smaller 757s to a range of destinations that many people would never have thought would get transatlantic flights.
Although DTW is alot further west than EWR NW could challenge CO by taking a large share of the passengers going west.
I also heard that NW make alot of money from flights operated by the DC-10 because they own them and are not paying leases or trying to make back the money they spent on them. So startegically placed on routes where they can make a profit like AMS the DC-10 proves worthy.

How long would it take for BA to totally replace all the 737s with Airbus?
