A beautiful machine and certainly earning its keep at the moment. I believe that Beriev has proposed cargo and passenger versions of a variant of the Be-200.

A lovely aeroplane the CL44. Back in the 80s and in another life as a Traffic Officer I used to work CL44s for Aer Turas and an American outfit AEI (Air Express International)

Much as I love the Russian craft, it could be that the An24 is getting a little long in the tooth. Of course with good and frequent maintenance there really should be no problem with these machines but at this stage I guess its all speculation. Sympathies to all concerned.:(

The Gulfstream might be looking for Farnborough where it is registered!:D

    Thanks for that info:)

Keith, many thanks for another shot of ‘TF. I’ll leave the further supply of Gulfstream images in your capable hands……or viewfinder;)

BTW, anyone remember the Gulfstream 1?

As usual Keith, very nice shots. IMO that awful easyjet livery looks quite good on that 757 but it may be a little overpowering on an A380! Ah well…no Gulfstream this week I guess;)

At least the ‘belly titles’ makes for easier visual identification of high level traffic. As for these new VS titles? IMO they should have left well alone.

For what its worth I have flown twice on Finnair MD11s as well as DC10s of Scanair, JAT and British Caledonian. I would happily do so again. The Finnair flights were among the most comfortable that I’ve made. IMO given the right set of circumstances any plane irrespective of make or model can become unsafe.

Cremation and the middle of the central grass area at LHR please. If thats not possible then off the end of the pier at Southwold on the Suffolk coast, have many good memories of there. Hopefully some time before it has to be sorted;)
