To be honest it makes you wonder what goes through these peoples minds when they think ‘999’ is the appropriate number to call in the situations mentioned in that article. It doesn’t bother me personally, it just makes me realise how truly intelligent I am compared with some people….:diablo:;)

I have all series of both on DVD and find them both just as enjoyable as the other. Although sadly it has to be said I don’t think The Simpsons is at the peak it once was….

There is alot of inconsistency with the newest episodes with some being very good and others being very poor and it seems an increasing dependence of special guests to add something to an episode. Agreed Family Guy has enough celebs dotted throughout the episodes but that is something they have always done so it’s somewhat expected now with the cut sequences etc and now they consistently deliver as does South Park!

Although if I was at a mates house with a few drinks, a pizza and a choice of a DVD? It would be Family Guy everytime probably!! 😀

    That reminds me, it’s on BBC3 now….. 😉

    “Cool Hwip….” :diablo:

You live in Farnham……I passed thru Farnham last December, didn’t see many overdressed lights on houses. Good area = sensible lights, or is that just a pattern I notice in every town?

    Merry Xmas.

(Pending comments on the use of the X!!!)

    🙂

Well this will be the first Christmas I’ve spent living in Farnham, I was living in Guildford down the road this time last year but either way I can’t say I’ve noticed any overdressed houses in either town.

Although saying that I dropped a friend of mine off at his house earlier and he said that he was about to do the outside lights decorating thing :diablo:.

Although this is all irrelevent as I drive back to Birmingham (hometown) for Xmas anyway :dev2::D.

Enthusiasm has nothing to do with it. They are just trying to out-do each other in a total non Christmas way. Don’t often see a flashing Jesus or a neon Mary!
Not that I can talk, the Bible is a book of tales, similar to bar talk.

Well quite! I do have to agree with you there….

    I withdraw my comment :D.

We both agreed that it’s better than the pikey chav christmas lights all over some peoples houses.

Do you always demean people who just enjoy celebrating Christmas with a little more enthusiasm than most?

There is a similar operation already happening at BHX and has been for a few years now that I’m apart of.

Now that commitment for you ;), sadly I was working at that time this morning. I need to get back out to the airport with these clear but cold winter days.

Shame they’ve ruined the look of the 75W with those awful, oddly placed ‘Friendly low fares’ titles, are they also printed on the engines too?
