Ilyushin Il-86 and Il-96, am i missing something here????????

New engines, avionics and wing. Look at it as an IL86ng.

Who ever is rating people’s threads with one star, can you cut it out? It’s extremely childish. Someone took the time to write something, if you don’t like it, just pass it by. I’ve never taken issue with anything on here before, but it really gets on my nerves.

    MapleLeaf,

This is what this joker wants, people to get wound up. Just ignore him/she and they will get fed up in the end.

Did you learn anything significant from the 744 driver????

Was chatting about various things systems and so forth, his comment was the only thing wrong with the 744 is that they made the fuel tanks to big as it gets a bit monotonous on a 14 hour sector. He also mentioned that if Boeing donโ€™t bring out the 744ADV then as some point BA will more than likely get the A380, but only after itโ€™s been in service for a few years i.e. to iron out the creases so to speak.

All in all a pleasant trip and chat with him.

Nah, don’t tell me you were serious…

Congrats to both Airbus and Boeing. A nice mixture of orders from both parties.

Amazing. Such a rich blend of colours. Love it. Bottom bit between main gear looks like a painting

Interesting….. One of the best airline meals i had was back in March, on a First Choice A321 from Turin back to Stansted, Mashed potatoes with Sausages and a caramelised red onion gravy….absolutly superb, the mash was light and fluffy (real potato to) the sausages were cooked to perfection, not burnt or shrivelled up, and the gravy was just awesome, nice a sweet and the right consistancy…well worth the extra tenner we paid for it.

I had the same meal recently with FCA, mine was blomin awful, the mash was loaded with cheese and the whole cabin stunk. The gravy was like water, was the foulest meal I have ever tasted.
Al goes down to how itโ€™s been prepared and cooked I guess.

Very nice shots Wilag! Very much like the Monarch 767 shot as well as the Euro Tristar. Wish there were more Tristars about down this way. ๐Ÿ™

Thanks for posting these up. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sure was a nice site. I miss the old trijets myself and with that Tristar hum from the 3 rollers, music to my ears.

Thanks for the kind comments Andrew.
