    Bloody disgusting, just been looking at some youtube footage of Concordes life, it all soon gets forgotten doesnt it,I know we have some in museums, hell i helped reassemble two of them, Where is Englands backbone going, once a proud nation of our engineering achievments. All being sold out.:(

    Whats left of the airframe will be scrapped by a 35 ton machine with a grab,then loaded into lorries and sent for processing by a huge machine called a fragger which will chew and grind even the strongest titanium parts of an A/C into pieces no bigger than 2″ then the coke can process begins so you could be drinking any of your favourite drinks fom MM.:D

    The A/C was suspended via six hydraulic jacks, we have positioned five sleeper packs front to rear,thus on realeasing the jacks ie, lowering the A/C onto the sleeper packs for her final resting where she now sits.:eek:

    Yes,parted out now, wings, lower fuse, and tail to be scrapped,its been a joy working on a nice engineer freindly a/c,we do not get many new ones,virtually nothing seized or corroded,airframe stood up well to the impact,although a lot of damage to the underside.:(

    Yes i am involved,she is just a shell now, everything stripped and gone to storage i cannot divulge to much because of the sensitive nature of the A/C .
