just landed. Been watching Sky News with the ‘live’ sub-titling, and when they mentioned the Vulcan just before the 1 o’clock started, it came up as ‘legendary RAF Balkan bomber’!! Obviously the word ‘vulcan’ isn’t in the computers vocabulary. LOL

W H O A !!!! Just seen Sky News at 7.45am, and they have done a piece ‘live’ from the hangar, and the end of it was ‘join us at 11.30 ‘live’ for the first flight.’!!! Now, this obviously could be wishful thinking on their part, but it’s obviously REAL close to first flight now!! And yes,…….I’ll be tuned in at 11.30!!

Did I just see a piece on Sky News at about 7.15am?? Out of the corner of my eye I caught a shot of the Vulcan, but by the time I got to the volume control they had moved on to something else. At least Sky are giving it some air time!!

I was at Brands Hatch yesterday racing my car, and at about 3pm, heading south (I think), we saw a B17 fly overhead, was it flying back from Biggin?

‘It is easy to mock these Spitfire rumours. I have followed a number up over the years with some success.’

……was in Tesco’s this morning and a guy walked past me wearing a VTST t-shirt!! I said to him ‘Not long now, then?’ and he replied he couldn’t wait for her to fly again. My sentiments exactly.
