It is only true of the Testpilot’s Sukhois, perhaps the Su-37 and certainly the MiG-29OVT. Most Su-30 and -27 displays are made by prototypes that are fitted with operational avionics, frequently pictures and video footage exist of the exact same airframe dropping bombs and launching missiles on trials. For example, the Su-30 that did the MAKS display in 2007 was the MKM prototype, clearly discernable as such thanks to all the bumps of the new EW system that used to be absent in its former MKI times. Certainly not a special display aircraft.
If the DA & IPA Typhoons are acceptable for comparison, so are 95% of the Su-30 displays out there. Apples and apples.
Spot on! If the EF prototype displays count same should apply to other A/C. I believe the Upgraded Su-27, Su-35 did the cobra with a significant load… And MiG-29K prototype displays too I believe…

why do you folks bother replying to ‘you know who’? Next we will be seeing pages and pages of off-topic copy paste (including economics) from ‘you know whos’ wonderful sources…
back on topic…
Ahh… she is beauty

DA1 from 1998
So, let’s see some video of KH’s displays at Farnborough ’98/2000.
This one from 98. One of the very few available.

And all popular airshow displays by Su-27 and derivatives are flown by test pilots with specifically modified aircraft, they are not representative of line aircraft. Eurofighter displays are flown by unmodified line aircraft.
Schorsch,
That maybe true for the Su-30/Su-35/Su-37, MiG-29OVT demos but does that hold true to the original Su-27, MiG-29 soviet era displays?
What about the 2 birds in this demo from 1990?
Officially? No! http://www.airforce.lk/org/photon.htm
This MiG-29 story has been poping up every now and then…
Yet to see anything solid…..
What on Earth is this aircraft?
(Or what movie did it feature in?)
The ‘X-302’ (From the Sci-fi TV series Stargate SG-1).
Very nice picture … sadly the number on the tail is too small to identify the unit.
Besides that there seems to be a different antenna-fit on the back-spine (I think I remember this one on an earlier bird at the CFTE) !
Cheers, Deino
Bingo….
that caught my eye too…
don’t know about post stall maneuvers, but here are some interesting ones,

Another one again no ‘Post-Stall’ (whatever that means), but interesting….Velocity Vector Roll, Tight 360′

Hui Tong has an update:

What’s this ‘Putina’ talk? I have now seen it on several occasions…
Are people referring to Mrs. Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Putina?
Puddle Jumper instead??? These babies can take out Motherships ๐

Well jumpers are pure ancient tech. So doesn’t count. And its mothership killing ability is thanx to the drones and against crappy goa’uld shields, and shieldless Wraith ships.
In contrast the original X-302 (unlike the X-301) had alien tech integrated but mainly good ole earth tech. Propulsion, sensors, weapons…
