Totally agree but doubt once caught he/she won’t be put away for life,possibly go to somewhere like broadmoor , Life sentence should really mean life.

I havent heard anything about it bar here – maybe there was a news blackout to avoid panic? I am sure the red tops would have a field day with this if they found out!

What hasent made the news is that last weekend there were shootings (i believe plural) and a stabbing outside Zest Nightclub in Ipswich!!

I go to Ipswich very regularly as my company has a Event Traffic Management contract there. We were there last weekend when this story was first hitting the light and people were talking about it.

I think Ipswich is a nice place and I hope this doesnt put people off going!

Really like the 146s. And BHD for regular civvy shots, although it would be nice to see a few rare visitors now and then. They’ve had quite a few bizjets in recently… must be the great and the good over to do their Christmas shopping.

I guess it is not bad, just watching it on the video sitting for what seems like an age, by contrast a BMI ERJ done an emergency landing at MAN today, full emergency response, and the fire wagons were at it before it had even come to a halt (non event in the end,thankfully) Not having a pop at the emergency guys at BHX,all these guys everywhere do an awesome job, just an observation.:)

Maybe they did not follow as there was large amounts of sparks coming from the engine/wing area when it was in contact with the tarmac? I doubt they would wish a fire engine to be set on fire should these sparks ignite something from a chasing tender…

I would hazard a guess it might be on a ferry flight to Belfast as we do have at least one based here and I know of some people who have seen sometimes two. I believe there is a maintenance facility for Islanders at one of the Glasgow facilities?

I think it depends per force – pretty confident G-BSWR is civilian version (PSNI Islander).
