I saw an Alitalia A321 overhead earlier, do I get some recognition for that? 😉

Not heard of it, but if it is anything like FSNav and its either free or very very cheap, then I might be tempted to give it a go.

FSNav is a disgrace. An excellent piece of software, but how they can go from it being Freeware one minute and $40 the next, I’ll never know.

They’re having a laugh if they think many people will be stupid enough to cough up that much cash for it.

Hope you have a great trip.

Air 2000/First Choice is one of the charters I’ve never flown with.

My next holidays are just around the corner now…

83 days until a long weekend in Budapest with British Airways
221 days until my 4 weeks and a day in Thailand!

    😀

    Not really.

With their huge order for yet more A340-600s, Virgin is going to be flying many more flights each day. They’re going to need a fair few more staff to fly the passengers, check the passengers in, cater for the passengers in the air etc.

Let’s face it, it’s going to take until 2010 to do it, so there is still a while to go.

That poster is discriminating against those that aren’t local to Gatwick Airport.

If I were to go and spend a day at Gatwick for the first time ever, am I classed as suspicious?

Doing what job Michael? Good luck whatever it is!

Part-time ‘Passenger Services Agent’. Obviously, I’ve still got education coming up, so full-time is currently out of the question.

Generally speaking there’s only one thing more expensive than airports: motorway service areas.

At least in airports there’s something interesting to look at, and alcohol aplenty! Motorway service areas on the other hand offer the biggest, most expensive pile of crap on earth…

But yes, airport food and drinks can be ridiculous.

To be honest I find Spanish airports the biggest rip off of them all- the bars and restaurants are expensive their offerings are not very good, but the ‘duty free’ shops in particular… what a rip off!!! Being Spanish I’m fully aware of the cost of things. When I see people paying on average 3 times as much for a chorizo or a piece of manchego cheese at the airport than it would cost on any given shop I truly despair…

Airports like London Gatwick and Dublin are good. They have food outlets selling food and drink at the same price as you would find on the high street.

I’ve got an interview with Virgin Atlantic in the coming weeks – I could be one of the 6,000! 😀

I paid £6 in Glasgow for a Coke, a coffee and two tiny flapjacks.

    But that is ridiculous!

    Great shots! 🙂

Is that 737-400 registered G-DOCD? If so, I’ve been on that one. I flew LGW-EDI on 22 December 2003.

6 and a half hour delay for Travel City Direct from Gatwick today!

I noticed that most flights were departing late, some even cancelled. Even Phuket Air to Bangkok was 75 minutes late.

    Unfortunately not.

The previous versions of FSNav for FS98 and FS2000 were completely free. Now, the developer wants $40 for it. You can use it for free 20 times before it stops working.

I would pay perhaps $15-20 for it, but its certainly not worth as much as that.

Take a look at CarSurvey.org for reviews:

thats not funny, I mean what are the best places for spotting?

Who said I was being funny?

You asked for somewhere which is “suitable for take-offs and landings”. I told you a suitable area and now you’ve gone all grumpy.

If you meant to ask the question you claim you did, why didn’t you ask that instead?
