    Thanks for the replies everyone.

After 5 nights in Thailand so far, I seem to have just about gotten over the jetlag with the GMT +7 time difference.

The weather here was not so good at the start of the holiday, but in the past 2 to 3 days it has got much better with scorching hot sunshine and blue sky all the day long… temperatures in the high 30s every day!

This really is the life! 😀

    Very nice! 🙂

Is the font used for the word “emerald”, the same one used by Monarch Airlines?

Thanks everyone. Managed to get onto a computer for an hour or so whilst the rest of the family finish off.

Last time, they wouldn’t give me a window seat because they had apparently been assigned already. I might tell them I have very mild claustrophobia and tell them that a window seat is essential 😀 Lots of action in Bangkok – last time I remember Lufthansa 744s, Finnair Md-11, Orient Thai Tristars and early 747s.

    Speak to you all soon.

My Thai 737-200 was also in the bundle, made by Gemini Jets. I’ve been told that this limited edition of only 750 made, is number 749 in the series! 🙂

Depends when you travel I guess, could easily vary between the 757 and 767.

It certainly was. As much as I love the 767, after travelling on the hi-tech A330s, the 767 seemed quite pathetic :p

It could be a tent for spotters, offering unbeatable views of the action? 🙂

Very nice. It makes a not-so-modern prop look quite new 😀

I done a check on the prices a little while ago and can’t find any of the cheap fares. I can only really get to London Gatwick Airport, since low-cost heavens like Luton and Stansted are not accessible via public transport.

Excellent model. Gemini Jets do an Aer Lingus 767 which is on my wishlist along with a few others :p

If the fare is still available upon my return from Thailand, I’ll be up for it, that’s for sure. I’m sure a day off of work can easily be arranged.

Nothing beats ebay for models. The selection on there is unbeatable, much like the prices!

I took a trip to modelzone in Basingstoke yesterday and bought myself this at the bargain price of £14.99. Scale of 1/144 and made by Corgi.
