Lovely!
Surely any commercial jet would look good in this situation.. the A330 looks brilliant!
arr… lovely little Ratbag!
Everyone posts a picture of a nice big cuddly cat or a dog and there I am posting a picture of a budgie!

Glad to hear you had a good day Andrew. When I flew out of London Gatwick the other week, I was pleased to see the charters opposed to the larger carriers which fly over my house each day approaching Heathrow.
that was the first time I’d been out of Gatwick since last March! I also saw the Monarch Airlines A321 G-OZBF aircraft parked on a remote stand as we taxiied to runway 8R aboard our British Airways G-DOCN.
No mention of any larger carriers for the charter industry, obviously because they jet off earlier in the morning 8 or 9 o clock for their long haul routes. I got a glimpse of MyTravel G-MLJL as I trotted across the tar-mac from the North Terminal to board the BA 737 as well as some others, this was just before 8 in the morning.
Nice to hear you had a good time. Going to impress us with some pics when you get your scanner? 😀
I expect my parents will have come across a couple of these at Bangkok, they fly home one week on Monday.
Nice pic, not a fan of these special Thai schemes unfortunately!
Thanks for the picture Saab.
It’s certainly a nice colour scheme. Is that grey on the fuselage actually grey or is it a bare metal effect?
Also, you said it reminded you of Delta and BA, I see what you mean. I was also thinking United with the grey, blue and red.
A superior colour scheme, one I look forward to seeing in the flesh!
My parents will not permit a cat or a dog in the house.
In January 1999 I managed to talk them into getting me a goldfish. Unfortunately, he died in August 2002, but not a bad length of time.
In March of 2001 I got my budgie who is nice to look at, the problem is when you try to pick him up! He is the most aggressive little thing I’ve ever know! He’s obviously just 2 years old… arr!

What a dreadful shame.
It’s sad that the consequences of September 11th are still being felt.
Both very good. Great idea KabirT.
Nice to see Dilbert there, too.

Good to hear you enjoyed it. As you more than likely know, I flew United in November from Heathrow to New York (only this time, it was JFK).
We flew UA905 and UA976 operated by 777-200 (N774UA) and 767-300 (N647UA). Like you, it was my first flight aboard a 777 and I was very impressed. Some on the forum asked if a 2-5-2 seating configuration in their economy cabin was a bit of sqyeeze, but I thought it was very spacious and the leg room was a dream compared to the charter airlines I more frequently fly.

Nice report and happy to hear about your outbound celebrations!
God only knows but the the Turquoise looks far superior and goes better with the assortment of colours stretched along the fuselage.
The two pics you have linked to could also be the same pic.. but edited. Everything is in the same place, the only difference being the difference in air2000.com colours and the aircraft in the background – Airbus A320s/A321s of Airtours and a plain white Monarch.
