He’s a lucky chap! Could have had far more severe or even fatal consequences.
Keep your eyes peeled on FlightSim.com and no doubt you can get your own Fresh 737 which you can fly!
I think you’ve got a point with the Sky One being chosen because it’s not aimed at us!
Ahh… what didn’t help me identify it was the fact that I only photographed the tail and didn’t even get it’s reg, so I couldn’t look it up.
I think a few hours over time might buy me one!
Thanks guys.
I was waiting for the inside of the aircraft to be a 2-4-2 seating configuration or something like that. Only one of us would know that a 737 is 3-3!
But yes, the computer graphics are quite tacky.
I reckon if you sat in front of the telly with a pen and pad, you could note down loads of mistakes with the programme!
Only 1 year and 4 months til the next Farnborough Air Show! Wonder what they’ll have on display?
Can someone tell me what Embraer aircraft this? http://homepage.ntlworld.com/m-kinghorn/farnborough/embraerlegacy-tail.jpg I’m not sure, I only took the photo!
As you know it’s about a low cost carrier called Fresh (and if you’re a true aviation enthusiast, you’ll notice their fleet of 737s do not have registrations!).
Episode one and two have introduced to the characters. Mainly focusing on a geeky chap named Marco who was dropped off at the airport on his first day by his mum!
People were cruel to him and sent him to the wrong briefing room and he nearly missed his flight… not a good start. He messed up and got loads of b*ll*ckings from Janis, his boss. It now turns out, as you’ll know from yesterday, Marco fancies Janis!
On his first flight, he was driven to Alicante where he was forced to go to clubs etc and get drunk by the homosexual guy whose name I can’t recall. His drink was spiked and he lost his way (had a flight the next morning) and then ended up in the hands of two Spanish woman who took him to his hotel, stripped him and put him in the swimming pool on a lilo. They robbed him of his belongings and his passport. After this, Marco’s career with Fresh! was near enough over.
Another girl (Emma I think??) fancied the First Officer but she was due to get married, we didn’t know if it was going to happen or not, but it did and there is still an affair sort-of going on between the pair.
Finally, Marco is heterosexual, but bets are being placed as to whether he is gay or not.. apart from that, that’s it!
It’s repeated Thursdays at 22:00 or 22:30.
For the benefit of younger members of the forum, I suggest we refrain from using such abusive language.
Tee hee hee…
A330Crazy,
I been watching it, I also posted a top telly thingy-majiggy a few days before the first in the series.
It is on for 13 weeks and I’ve seen all three episodes so far.
I think it’s more a drama series and itsn’t as funny as it could be. Last night for example, that guy that jumped off the hotel roof was a little odd for what I thought was just an occasionally funny drama series.
I’m enjoying it at the moment and it makes a nice change to all these absolutely cruddy and repetitive programmes like Frost and The Bill, Holby City and Casualty… nice idea!
I’m using NTLWorld Dialup services (or based on Coanda’s response, NTHell!).
They once offered a free 24/7 service for NTL phone customers, this then went to £5 and is now £10. I think broadband with NTL is something I will most certainly not consider!

Great photo – one that I think is real.

Last February (2002) with British Airways. I mentioned in my flight review that we hit the runway at quite an angle.
The little A319’s rear right wheel whacked down first followed by the others with a few lockers flying open at the rear of the aircraft.
A very nerve-racking experience!
My parents flew Qatar Airways to Bangkok via Doha on Friday and I have to speak to them about their experiences.
I spoke to them while they waited at Heathrow Terminal 3’s departure lounge and they were told at check-in that they could choose their seats as they pleased on the connecting flight as it was going to be near enough empty…!!
I’ll let you know what they think of what is though to be another Emirates –
Nice idea Andrew,
Going to get us started? 😀
