    RE: CSA

I mentioned CSA a few months back as a possible option for one forum member wanting travel to Prague.

And as for the BBC Airport programme, apparently, it is a real achievement to be an Air Steward/Stewardess in the Czech Republic.

Very nice pic, obviously an A340.

Airliners.net only accept “low” quality images if they are rare ones. This to me doesn’t seem too lower quality.

Ahh.. a screenshot of the Boeing website! No surprise at their choice of photograph.

First I heard of it? I know absolutely nothing about it, but if anyone could provide me with a link to some information on it, it’d be greatly appreciated!

RE: Ryanair Places Major Boeing Order

I think the moves being made by easyJet and Ryanair lately are going to be crucial over the coming years when they each fight for the top spot in the low-cost area.

easyJet buys Go, Ryanair buys Buzz. easyJet signs an Airbus deal, Ryanair now signs a Boeing deal. Ryanair clearly lack ideas, hence the reason they are making all the right moves “after” easyJet.

As an I Selsport, I think it’s 10th July at Manchester. Would I be right to think this?

I don’t think it’s Photoshopped. The photographer has just been there at the right time and had a vague idea of what he wants. Obviously it’s a success.

    RE: Closed Airports

I said in the pic of the day post that I passed the LHR approach on the train on my way back from Waterloo. There were a vast number of flights approaching the airport and steady few leaving.

London City was passed and their seemed to be little activity. Being such a small airport, I’m not sure how frequently aircraft arrive/depart though. Perhaps this is the norm?

    What a great shot.

I have just come back from central London and had loads of aircraft flying into Heathrow; BA 757s, BA 747, KLM 737 and an aircraft of Swiss.

I was just about to say “How British”!

It’s nice to see a little bit of the aircraft..!! Don’t anyone go posting photos of fog claiming there is a 747 or something lost in it! 😀

Perhaps wioth the Korean Air Cargo, they’ll learn from their mistakes. Loading cargo into the front of the aircraft first will prevent it flipping up like that!

As for the cargo door that is open and the reckless control of the aircraft which cut off another aircraft’s tail – I don’t know..!! 😀

It’s people like you that aren’t taken seriously.

Teenagers have no money? I’m not inclined to agree with that ridiculous statement. I’m 17, soon to be 18, and earning £400 – £500 per month in a part time job.

Once you’ve posted a few more posts and had a few more ratings, come back and express your pathetic opinions. Andrewm has used this forum a whole lot longer than you and did not ruin the meeting. He played a huge part in the organisation and upon realising he could not attend on the proposed date, handed the responsiblity to Kev35.

RE: Star Alliance launches new aircraft livery, Asiana Airlines to premiere bold design

Perhaps it just hasn’t occurred to the people at Star Alliance that to shrink the logos already on the aircraft could have been easier. Alternatively, if there’s no room on the aircraft, there’s no room in the Alliance! Hee Hee! 😛

Of course, if an aircraft goes in for servicing (or whatever it’s called in the aviation industry), there has to be an aircraft to temporarily replace it.

Is there such a thing as a flight between Manchester and Glasgow anyway? If so, which airlines fly the route?
