    RE: Baggage overweight?

I’ve had a 20kg limit with Airtours and got away with 24kg so I guess it just depends on what sort of person you get at check-in..!!

Great photo and not a bad livery.

I’m still not sure which of the two I prefer. I never used to be keen on the lime green of JMC but it grew on me eventually and just as I actually got to like it, Thomas Cook took over..!!

Wysiwyg (or anyone else who knows): Is JMC Holidays going to re-brand as Thomas Cook Holidays?

Ahh – so any idea where the aircraft is then? Could it have been scrapped?

    Interesting!!

Not quite so luxurious on the inside as I had imagined…

I at first, thought this was a joke – but it would seem I was wrong. It’s not a bad investment. Considering an apartment in London overlooking the Thames could cost £400,000 ($600,000) or even more, $290,000 (or £200,000) is a fair price!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 28-11-02 AT 06:34 PM (GMT)]Thanks for the information on the Shorts 360 Saab 2000 and Wysiwyg.

I’ve been doing some research using the G-INFO Aircraft Database and it turns out that the Shorts 360 is no longer with Aurigny (or Oar-re-knee!) or is it…??

The database said it has been transferred to Sweden although the registered owners are:

    AURIGNY AVIATION HOLDINGS LTD
    GRANDE RUE
    ST MARTINS
    GUERNSEY
    GY8 0DT
    UNITED KINGDOM

    …Aurigny?

The aircraft was built in 1984 and belong to Air Business. That year it appeared at the Farnborough Air Show. See attached photograph.

The Antonov 225 is currently the largest aircraft in the world according to a reliable source.

Wish I was still there to see it going on – but have a good one anyway and let’s hope no evil halfwit does something stupid to ruin it for you.
