RE: Happy Thanksgiving to my American G’s (still early)

Wish I was still there to see it going on – but have a good one anyway and let’s hope no evil halfwit does something stupid to ruin it for you.

Very nice selection of photos there A330Crazy, particularly the Shorts 360 – any idea what that guy is doing – just a routine check?

    RE: ALITALIA HIJACK ATTEMPT

So it wasn’t hijacked really? A passenger threatened to do something nasty.

A British Airways flight had that a few months back didn’t it? A passenger heard two men discussing taking control of the plane and reported it to a stewardess who then informed the pilot, who then alerted air traffic control who then dispatched military aircraft to bring it in safely.. is that right?

They were arrested on landing but nothing ever came of it.

A fact about Cheddar Cheese: It’s the most widely eaten cheese in the world and it’s a British invention…

…is cheese actually an invention or a creation? or both?

    RE: QUIZ — Airline Anagrams

    Doing a good job guys,

So far you have guessed 14 of the 20 and have got them all right. I hope Hand87_5 that you understood the clue for the Aeroflot one – Jeremy? Of course, Jeremy Spake from BBC Airport.

Number one is no longer operating as a result of September 11th as far as I can recall.

I thought the clue for number 11 made it seem quite obvious…

I’ll leave it for a few hours more and post the remaining answers.

With British Airways being a much larger airline, any idea how many people they take on at a time? Their website doesn’t say.

    Wysiwyg,

Do you mind if your home is destroyed in the process?! Because with some of suggestions, although they are effective, they may cause some damage.
