    Do you mind if your home is destroyed in the process?! Because with some of suggestions, although they are effective, they may cause some damage.

    Buy one of these humane mouse traps. How many people will happily scoop up the remains of a mouse?

    I would rather do it nicely… Buy one of these from your local junk shop. (See attached – image made by myself of course).

    That would be a dream come true, but before I even think of heading in this direction, I’m off for a CAA Health Check. I seriously think my eyes are not what they should be.

    Britannia done this earlier in the year and I think they took on either 4 or 6 inexperienced wannabes out to a flight training centre in Spain, one also used by British Airways.

    It seems quite a lot – 9 abreast but it was really very comfortable. There was ample space in the seat, wider than the average economy seat I would say.

    The 767-300 was only a 2-3-2 layout and I don’t know if it’s just a charter thing, but I’ve always known it to be 2-4-2.

    Glad you enjoyed the report.

    Some things I forgot to add..

    1. Since September 11th, United do not use the curtains in the cabin to seperate the various classes. They remain open for the duration of the flight.

    2. On N774UA, the Boeing 777-200, seats H and J in rows 17, 18 and 19 are not used by the passengers:

    These seats are in fact the crew rest area and do not have fold-a-way tables or seatback TVs and are seperated from the rest of the economy cabin by a large curtain which pulls round to give darkness, allowing them to sleep.

    3. After arriving back at Heathrow, Prince Naseem (The Boxer) went past me in a little airport buggy – anyone know where he was heading? 😛

    That’s rather silly..

    Take any random registration and see how you can make it mean something, particularly ones which contain an A and a B where you can mention Airbus and Boeing.

    So many strikes – I just don’t agree with any of themm. Firefighters in the UK which could threaten 7 airports across the country including Heathrow and now baggage handlers. Replacements should be found and those involved should be kicked out.

    Can legal action be taken?

    Of course Slough is beautiful – it has Heathrow Airport sat next door to it! I was going to go shopping to Slough tomorrow but now I’m going to Oxford. That’s a nice place.

    I was going to base it all on the December 2002 issue of Airliner World and had to just throw in some random questions as well because international readers (and there are a lit of you) may not have your copies for a few days yet.

    Here’s the answers..

    1. Was meant to ask what the two tallest in the US were – so as we now know, Kuala Lumpur is the tallest in the world and Denver and Orlando are taller than JFK in the USA.

    2. It is a Cameroon Airlines 767-300. I saw the airline featured in Dec 02 issue of Airliner World and thought this would be a good one to feature.

    3. Norweigan Air Shuttle.

    4. It is an Ariana Afghan 727 cropped nicely enough to deceive you! The 737 and the 727 are very alike as all know and a couple of you thought it was a 737 – well done to A330Crazy for getting both halves of the question right!

    5. MyTravel DC-10. I wouldn’t say it was on it’s eighth operator now. Airtours to MyTravel was a re-branding job, not being passed on to a new airline.

    6. Again, it’s a Norweigan Air Shuttle aircraft. A 737.

    7. Air Canada – dreadful look but they have it to celebrate a 65th year of operations.

    8. British Airways Concorde – A few strawberrys and a kiwi fruit!! Surely we expect more from BA and what is probably the most expensive aircraft to travel on in the world!

    It warns people not to take too much interest until more things have been confirmed and it looks a little promising.

    This could be a genuine lo-cost-long-haul airline operating from a mainly European airport – could be interesting.

    Can you actually upload Bitmaps onto the forum? Thought it was only JPeg and GIFs that could be displayed – Bitmaps are better quality and so, larger files.
