Message from ‘broxmouth’ who seems to have made three posts, again the link was to uncensored youtube. Did not open link, but checked the main board first. Glad I did.
I have a book called ‘Torpedo leader on Malta’ by Wing commander Gibbs. The aircraft were Bristol Beauforts, was it this one ?
I was once told that big radials, like the R-2800 ect, have cylinder bores of slightly different sizes. Having scoured the intardnet, I have failed to find references to that anywhere, so any truth to it?
No great problem, I doubt if I could draw a reasonable representation of part of the United States either:rolleyes:
Good grief, what an absolute crass song:o
Congrats Moggie:)
Why oh why cannot wreckage, like the above held at Stafford, not be signed over to the Stirling Project. When were these remains last on public display?… will they ever be seen again in public? or, will they end up in a scrapmans skip one day because it could be deemed by some that they have ‘no interest value’
Sunday 20th July.
BBMF in formation albeit slightly spread out, over South west Harlow at about 1600 heading towards Duxford. Mr Teichmans Spitfire spotted heading towards North Weald from Duxford direction a few minutes later, they must have waved to each other en route somewhere!
Cant a chap have a quiet beer in his garden without all of this noise?;)
Sorry for the farmers crop loss…but what a stunning photograph!
Good point Nashio966:)
Although if this were a vote, then I would have to cast mine as a No. EK is unique, NX611 is unique too because she is accessible to the public in a way that PA474 isnt..if yer get me drift;)

Sincere condolences to you, and your family, Lisa.
