Let’s be honest, the UK airshow scene is a tenth that of 1984. There’s very little that’s new or interesting, I’m surprised Key committed to the special at all this year!
On reading this month’s AI what makes me mad is BA’s quoted attitude that they’re not prepared to sell them to anyone as they are “synonymous with the airline”. BA should regard Concorde as one of Britain’s great achievements and be prepared to let them go to anyone with the will and capability to keep them flying.

Sad to say last time I was there just before Christmas the museum was closed and empty, except for the aircraft. It very much looked like everything has simply been abandoned – has anyone any news?
