And what would you like to see happen if Gaddafi takes the upper hand and you have tens or hundreds of thousands of his opposition laying dead in the streets? Do we sit idly by and watch another Rwandan genocide type situation play out? I would strongly question the whole point of the UN if that’s what happens again.

The main difference is that T3A and T3B form the entire third tranche. It has been split due budgetary constrains. T3A covers about 45% of total T3, but the future of the T3B is uncertain and doesn’t look promising atm. There might be some technical differences as well, such as the Captor-E radar IF T3B is realised at all. It’s of course possible to retrofit such items into T3A and with a bit more work T2 aircraft.

If India selects the Typhoon it would certainly be T3B right ?
