TR1, this SM order are going to AVMF(Black Sea).
They will phase out those old Su-24 stationed at Ukrane Navy base me thinks..
I read somewhere that the VVS and Ukraine base lease contract does not allow more then 18 units to be stationed there.
So at best it will be 18 Su-30SM there, but i think 12(one Sq) will do. Cause there also are some Su-24MR(4-6 i think..), don’t know if these also will be phased out by Su-30SM..
So the questions are, where will the rest of em go?
And What kind of radar will they get?

I don’t think so, there is nothing indicating this order is entirely for the Navy. We know so far the numbers floated are 28 for AF, 12 for navy, for first batch, so where does this 30 fit in? All for AF methinks.
