I doubt Russia much cares, given that India has been fretting about dependance on Russia, nobody really considered MiG-35 would win, despite being a good aircraft. “warmed over MiG-29” maybe, I guess SH is warmed over F-18 by that definition, same for F-16, etc etc. Between the MiG-29K and MiG-29UPG deals, and the MKI and PAK-FA programs, UAC has nothing to complain about really.

It’s much like Russian marketing claims of their IRBIS radars, etc… detecting stealthy aircraft, but then you look at the numbers(90km vs. .01m^2 targets). Of course when you look at the ranges vs. <.001-.0001m^2, the detection range is less than half of that, to less than 1/3.

Actually the IRBIS was explicitly marketed with the 90km figure for a .01 sized target. Your definition of a stealth target is not their concern.

Yes , AMRAAM is combat proven and outperforms MICA in all flight regimes
and its much cheaper since it is produced in great numbers.

Apparently it doesn’t outperform it in terms of IR tracking.

From what I understand there are only very few of the mi-8MTI flying/airworthy/existing, the Mi-8PPA is a relatively more common commodity.
