I’m Home!
I feel pretty much beat up, however, a lot better than 3 weeks ago:eek:
As the evening wore on the cat became the “face hugger” off Aliens and wouldn’t leave me alone!!
I would like to thank you guys for your support on the forum, you cannot believe how much it bucked me up in the early hours when unable to sleep.
Thankyou to Graham Adlam who happened to be on the phone when I was first struck ill and told me to dial 999, or he would………..!(good call)
I would especially like to thank Chris Williams (aka wingcomandrflap) who unselfishly helped me at every turn during this period. Looking after Spitfirecorner, my cat and I.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the help Chris has given me over the last few weeks, thanks mate.
Its going to take a while to recover from this and I’m attached to machinery for the next few months that aids the surgery etc.
Andy, not sure about Shoreham just yet, but it is my goal to be there with my Spitfire. Need to see how the next couple of weeks pan out.
Thankyou for the card BSG-75:)
Thanks again
Baz

Don’t worry, it’s no worse that mate phoning me from A&E,
It appears that the new dyson ball cleaner wasn’t quite what he thought it was 😀
……is he in here with me:eek:

Best I can offer is £69.99 🙁
£85.50:)
I remember the sidewinder modded Nimrod at St Mawgan early conflict and the Nimrod boys excitement of becoming fighter pilots overnight. IIRC the main use was defence and knocking down the pesky B707 recon plane.
Sink the Bismark!
Not feeling well, lots of good moments, kept me capivated throughout.:)

what bit?……………..
Early 83 a Shell survey ship parked at Stanley and we met some of the crew down the pub. One told me that there is a lot of oil offshore, trouble is its too deep and will take new technology to get at it. This information had been around a few years so maybe the Falklands war was not totally ‘border’ driven.
