    I know that 8 Squadron (Shackletons) named their airframes after Magic roundabout characters, did anyone name theirs after Wombles?

    Was it not initially recovered by a Canadian airline pilot ? then swapped a year later for a Spitfire airframe from the RAF?

    I’m sure your comments on their website are quite motivational for the team restoring this aircraft.

    Sadly, Newquay has not seen any snow and its been sunny every day. Last week and this, I have managed all my outdoor jobs and some. I serviced one of my car transporters yesterday and my Land rover the day before. I serviced my strimmer this morning and ended up cutting the grass:o

    All the snow has missed Newquay.:(

    I sit watching the news wishing for a bit of snow with my 4×4 outside with its artic heater and……………….nothing.
