I like horses……..always give them a big friendly toot-toot on my air horns and a wave…..for some reason the miserable gits just jump the nearest hedge and race across the fields with the rider shouting something unintelligable:rolleyes:
My cat also likes horses, she’s licking her lips and wandering off to her food bowl as we type……:diablo:

A lot of cameras were also being destroyed ‘by the people’ fed up with big brother. If you pi88 off the population enough, none of these new cameras will last long. (not that I would condone such an action of course:rolleyes:)

I have a copy of a secret wartime document of about 20 odd pages on the Turbinlite fitment. Its too big to scan in so I took photos of a couple of pages to show whats in it. As documents of this nature were systematically destroyed during the war as they became out of date etc. There is a possibility this may be the only one left.
I can ‘knit’ two halves together on my scanner, and post this up for all to see but I have no room on my key account, or I could photo each page and leave them up for a couple of days then rotate them.
It is a fascinating item.
Speaking as an even longer ex TG9. I never saluted an officer when he/she was out of uniform!!!
A young WRAF at RAF St Mawgan walking up the hill to work one morning, failed to salute the C.O. driving down the hill in his flag flying staff car.
Incensed with the lack of respect he swung round in one of the lower car parks, sped back up the hill and pulled up next to the young lady.
As he leaned across to wind down window, our WRAF opened the back passenger door, hopped in and said cheerfully “Thankyou sir, going as far as Operations?”
Being the gentleman he was, he got his salute after he dropped her off at Ops.:)
(she was TG9!)
