Made the mistake of drinking coffee whilst reading this:

Took 20 minutes clearing up the mess…

As you say, just an artistic version of it, don’t read into it so much…

    No, you missed the point.

The Union Flag is iconic in its own right, the proportions of the red, white and blue if left alone, can be changed in colour (if coordinated) and still allow people to recognise what country it represents.

What you have done with the Union Flag is change the shape of the proportions whilst leaving the colours as original.

In this case it does not work.

If your artwork was as good as your sarcasm, I guess I would have downloaded then printed it, stuck it in a frame and hung in pride of place in my living room.

The Union flag has been dumbed down for advertising over the last twenty plus years, I think the latest are in the ‘Rimmel London’ look ads. The Military have a camo three green Union flag and a three brown one.(desert)
This is not a new look.
There are loads if you can be bothered to look.

I don’t believe the McCartney slant on this to make it more Scottish:rolleyes:

As soon as I saw it I knew what it represented, therefore, its OK with me.

    XE921

Well, after someone posted a shot of her in this months Flypast, a gentleman who flew her whilst she was on CFS duties contacted me with a photo:)
He was on the CFS when at Little Rissington and tells me XE921 served there 3.9.56 to 27.9.63. He took this photo as she returned to the line.
