By not replying to James final post, I was conceding the point of its spelling as a place name. James also spotted quite quickly, I was winding him up and not wanting to play anymore, quit the game:D
cheers

which thread?
Umm, no it’s not…
Pearl Harbor is clearly a place name, it dosen’t specifically refer to the fact that it has a harbour which the place obvioulsy has.
I have never seen it referred to Pearl Harbour in any decent source.
Spelling ain’t my thang, but places, people, and items (hanger & hangar) should tried to be spelled correctly
tosh
read this

For the third time today, Harbor!:)
Er…………its the same word.
English, English = Harbour
American, English = Harbor
You’ll have us spelling colour color next!

(or pastie pasty)
If our American cousins cannot spell Harbour correctly, so be it.
Baz:rolleyes:
A covering letter to the processing company would be advisable.

Nope, the entire research that lead to that piece of BS you posted is utter crap & fabrication from the start. It was totally debunked years ago as being utterly worthless & without merit, yet is trotted out by the anti’s at every available opportunity, despite everyone knowing it’s absolute drivel. Kellerman has zero credibility & you quoting him doesn’t add anything except misinformation to your post. The guy is a idiot.
Right……….without beating around the bush, tell us what you really mean.:p

Think you’re right, I found a used roll film at the bottom of a camera bag, sent it off, when it came back it turned out to be 14 years old. Although photos came out OK(ish) they suffered light pollution and chemical breakdown.
I really don’t believe undeveloped roll film dating back to Pearl Harbour is lightly to survive.
Well…..you could buy this if you want to save a bit of cash:rolleyes:
Bargain!!
That’s my youngest. We’d been out to see “Twilight Tear” which is based a few hours west of us. While you can’t see it, he’s sitting on her wing.
I do the profiles for fun. Clearly you are far better. If you get bored, feel free to fiddle some more with Matt’s Mustang. I’d love to see the rest of it weathered and shaded 🙂
Dan, I don’t have to be told twice:D
Pearl Harbour
I think the film took on too much. If it had stuck with ‘Pearl Harbour’ and not covered the battle of Britain and the Doolittle raid, using ‘over clocked’ aircraft in the cgi dogfights, whilst trying to have a ‘love’ element where no-one could give a toss who lived or died, it may have done better.:o
When I bought my copy of Pearl Harbour from Morrisons last year, it was cheaper than Where Eagles dare and the Battle of Britain.
I’ve only watched my copy once, however, the BoB gets a show every month without fail and yes, I always fast forwards all the bits with Ms York in.
“Don’t you yell at me Mr Warwick!”
Think of how many quotes you can remember from the Battle of Britain film.
Now think of all the quotes you can remember from Pearl Harbour.
Anyway, just my thoughts.

Great minds think alike? Did this one for my son
Nice one Dan, a good side view, (found myself fiddling with it!!) sorry!
Do you do sideviews professionally?
Your lad in the picture? If he is, I can see where dad wants him:)

Dunno about you lot but, I’m going to watch it on the night it comes out, in the cinema, scoffing pop-corn, ice cold coke, cheering when the hun gets shot down and enjoying the moment.;) I’ll probably end up buying the soundtrack and then the DVD (and the T’shirt!). If it gives me 2 hours of entertainment I won’t give a monkeys fart that a P51 does the odd manoeuvre here or there, or a B17 has the wrong markings, or the actors are not speaking 1940s Afro-american.
Once I’ve seen it, it will probably give me another 2 hours of entertainment on this very thread, reading what you thought about it!
anyway
knocked out a side-view in my premature excitement
