Don’t remember 4 Spitfires and 1 replica, there was 2 replicas, mine and Graham Adlams MkIX plus a single airworthy MkIX.(EJC)

They used mine to tie in with the ‘Battle of Britain’ scenes where ever possible and Grahams cockpit for start up stuff and the live Spitfire for T/O and landing.
I never saw it but there was a Yak (?) trainer for airborne cockpit flying scenes with Sam.

I did point out at the time green/grey camo, roundels, mk numbers, etc but was politely reminded of the restrictive budget. This was born out as Graham and I was placed in a cheap cr@p motorway hotel miles away, whilst the production team slummed it in a 4 star hotel in town.

Have to say the food on set was good.

I was present during filming and still enjoy watching it.

They used one of my Spitfires (this one) and have to say it was a great couple of weeks.

    Probably.

Can’t say I am bothered one way or another really. I certainly wouldn’t get involved in hunting, but then I hate horses

Horse hunting……brilliant…I’m up for it, that…..and cyclists.

2nd July 2015, Camborne College had an Aviation day and WT525 had its first ever ‘airing’. This was set up by the campus aviation engineering instructor John Goodwin.
Hopefully the first of many, maybe one day I will be able to drag her up to the cockpit fest.

The only people who buy this stuff are likely to know anyway so, not really a problem.

I see it’s not listed now and the seller got a bit arsey when it was pointed out that it wasn’t Battle of Britain

    Best you contact him again

No leaks on mine, however, on mine you have to split the whole fuselage via the 2 retaining screws underside.
