The day the earth stood still

    On telly just now.

Had the cat not been asleep on my lap and I could have reached the remote, I would have changed channels to something less predictable like the shopping channel.:(

    $27k (£23k) for a cockpit?….. madness.

We’ve just had a plethora of cockpits go through ebay and most didn’t sell, the two that did went cheap (including a Buccaneer for £2k) so, I guess with the $ amount the vendor is aiming for the USA. There is not the money in this country to buy such a toy for such a price.

I’ve a feeling that we are heading for another locked thread, you’re not listening to advice that has been given by Mods, AP and Kev35.

You have to remember that when you write a post late at night, the kids are all tucked up in bed, however, it is still there the following afternoon when they come home from school.

my quick wit often upsets folks

    I’m not surprised.

    I like GD.

More than ever, it needs to be protected from extinction.

    Just my thoughts

Why not start a thread called: The drival thread

This would be a sort of place the Mods could throw (merge) consistent ‘off topic threads’ (like this one)without totally losing them, some members can ramble on (again) off topic without fear of recrimination from other members or mods.

All drival can be kept in one place, like a sin bin of rubbish, that could be more easily monitored by the gods and we (mere mortals) get the message when a thread dissappears off the forum and into the ‘drival thread’.

It would keep all the problem threads in one place, making it easier for a moderator to monitor.
