Baz. Only since 2007 according to Wiki.so I was being victimised by the “Council” official .However, he picked on the wrong person that day.
And yes, your right, I should have called a fellow Officer, as I nearly had reached the point whereby I was going to give him a slap!.

No, if you re-read wiki, its worded badly, the 2007 bit only pertains to Government buildings. You have always been allowed to fly a Union flag from a flag staff on your own property. No one can make you take it down. I read sometime ago you needed permission to fly a regional flag, say the Kernow flag etc. That rule may have change.
Is it right Baz, that they are discussing whether to incorperate a Cornish pasty in the Cornish/Kernow flag?.:D:diablo:;)
