Well worth a visit we we there two weeks ago.
The tour lasts about an hour and a half.
You are collected outside at a dedicated stop for the tour near the Airbus security area. Then you are taken by a small bus for a tour around the Concorde and Brabazon Hangars no pictures aloud untill you arrive at Concorde. There are a number of people who give you the guided tour.
You do get up to the cockpit but only as far as the engineers seat, one of the Concorde team talks about the aircraft from the cockpit side.
The aircraft is in a dedicated area so lots of pictures can be taken and if you as some one they will take pictures for you with the aircraft.
Hope the weather is good and you enjoy the trip, I came up from Jersey in the Channel Islands to do this visit although I was in the area doing other things.

The reason for the delay of the new ATRs, is the company who make the seats are late in deliverying the seats for the new ATRs.
Two of the series 200s will leave the company at some time this year possible G-BWDA and G-BXTN

    The reason why I asked.

I flew into Yeovilton back in September 1988 in a light aircraft.

I am visiting my son and future in laws who live not far from Yeovilton, we intend to visit the museum over the weekend I am over.

I understand the Historic flight is in the area we were parked in the Cherokee i flew all thoughs years ago.

    Summer routes to Jersey

The Saturday only routes that Flybe will operate to Jersey will be by Q400 aircraft.
Nearly all the EMB145 aircraft have departed the Flybe stable.
A number of these Saturday only flights were charters for the Jersey Travel Service, from reading into all this, Flybe have done some deal to operate the routes which VLM was operating for Jersey travel Service last year.
I think you will find they will be part charter (block bookings by the travel agent) and Flybe will have a number of seats to sell as well.

It would be great if another Viscount came back to its birth place to be not only in one piece but to fly would be the tops.
I remember when British Air Ferries was doing the round robin of the last passenger flying in the U.K. all those years ago.
Good luck to the project if it can go any further and at least get another frame back in the U.K.

    A number of reasons

There are a number of reasons why she is unable to land at Jersey although she did all thoses years ago.
One I understand is the lack of landings some of the crew memebers have done.
It has not helped with a number of her displays being cancelled.
All be sevicable she will be there and I understand she will be meeting up with the Reds before her display with the Reds to follow to end the display.
Fingures crossed and him up stairs being kind with the weather we could be seeing a very nice display?

    Additions

Hot off the Cyber net work
A Yak 3 which will do a display
A Polish Air Force Bryza which will form part of the staic display.
As far as I know they have never appeared in any of the air displays in Jersey before.
So yet again another first time down in Jersey for them.
With only two weeks Thursday before the display what else could be turning up?:)

    Best Place

If you know any one with a GIN PALACE (A Yacht or boat) moored in St Aubins bay for the afternoon you have the sun behind you, as the dame would say.
That way you are looking towards the island and good for photos if the sun is out, other wise on land you would be looking towards the sun and not good for takeing good pictures.
I think the castle is open but closed for the display so if you are already there that is O.K. it is just to stop haveing people on the beach as the beach is closed to the public along most of St Aubins Bay if not all.
Hope this is of some help.
The main area for the display is centred between First Tower and West Park as this area has guest tents with corporate sponsors and some of the hangers on.
