    The Question was the owners.

I do know that as and when the flybe mess is sorted the Dash 300s are not part of the scheme.

Nice to see the Varsity has had a little walk getting closer to the hangar and to be under cover maybe?

    Shack on the way Back

Things have gone quite on this one.

With the summer only weeks and not months away if it is heading home would this not be happening in the not to distant future??

They might be waiting for warmer weather and if and when where will it be heading for.

There is talk in another thred of the Classic Flight relocation but that seems to be quite as well.

One of the DC6,s did pop over to Deenethorpe for a little stay but returned to Coventry as I think security might have been an issue there.

It would be great to see a hear the mighty growler again.

Well done done to all for getting Zulu Kilo back into a fine looking aircraft and some of us would say better than the Mr Boeings 727.

Although we only had a few visits to us down in the sunny islands of the Channel ,well only Jersey,s runway was long enough it was a nice looking aircraft.

Well done for trying to preserve some Brithish Aviation with keeping a Trident being looked after with T.L.C. although we could not conquere it we can still remember it.

Yes it is always sad to see if, only the lottery had a bit of money to go there as well.

Could be some a nice way to help support the project in a way providing Corgi would donate a percentage for each sale.

It is one way to help as they need as much support from any angle.

    Well Albert Ross

You know your next project at CORGI

A release in the summer of one Air France Viscount or even an Air Inter one might be nice.

If you get the scheme correct maybe Corgi can send a percentage to Viscount35 assiciation???

Does this look like a good idea or not.

To be correct there is a 700 Viscount in the pictures.

The British Eagle Viscount one I agree if people have ideas they need to send the approiate photos only relating to a Viscount 700.

At the end of the project it is how everyone would identify the Aircraft not what we would like to see it in.

She only flew in Air France and Air Inter colours as a lot of us do know there were several U.K. 700 operators.

As quoted nice to see all the interest at the end it will have to be the correct one for te project.

British Midland operated both the 700 and the 800 series Viscount, as a number of people have said at the end of the day who did she operate under.

All the best to get the aircraft moved.

Driving from Coventry to Old warden in a car took us about and hour fifteen so do do the journey by heavey transport would at least a three hour journey on the sort of transport required.

Look forward to hearing it,s safe arrival at Bagington

That fantastic news we were at old warden last November and if only we knew then where the aircraft lived we would have poped up to Skysport to see the aircraft.

All the best with this project and I look forward to seeing it on my next visit to Coventry.

We were at the Midland air museum at the same time as our old warden visit where are they hoping to park the aircraft as space seem tight there at the moment but they are a very nice bunch of people at the Midland Museum.

XF708 flew in to Duxford from Kemble on the 23 sept 1972.

She has over thirty years at Duxford and very little attention done to it.

The Shacks down at Charlwood near Gatwick get some attention to them as they are kept with help from friends and on there open days they run them up.

    Nice for the neigbours.

    Long live the Coni

Look forward to seeing the end result and hopefully another success story for an aircraft being save fron the scrap..

It looks like some free advertising at the moment but are the new owners going to give it a new scheme before it opens as accomadation.

    Atlantic Airlines

    U.K.Commercials

The Stansted route was done by Atlantic Express not Atlantic Airlines for starters.

Atlantic Airlines is a freight operator with no connection to Atlantic Express or even Air Atlantique confused yet?

A lot of people think they are connected but they are not, other than they where the same colours and there is an Osprey on the tail.

The heavy freight division of the group a number of years ago had a management buy out and became Atlantic Airlines.
