I’m going to get there to see her.

now that u mention that, I think we’ve seen u guys, ain’t it ben?
I’ve been drinking several gallons of beer/cyder/whisky in these days, had a fantastic time with Ben, who showed me SO many interesting stuff!! The OW collection is absolutely stunning, I’m looking forward to come there and attend the airshow, it must really be wonderful!!! We’ve been to Sywell too, and I was lucky enuff to see Susy, which is in brilliant shape and eagerly waiting to take back to the air! Ben’s running an awesome museum there, really worth visiting, and the local bar and restaurant are superb!
But the thing that really blew me off saturday was their Beech and T-6, and the Vulcan too was really amazing!!!!
I’ll stop boring u with this guys, u r probably used to this, but trust me, for me it was incredible and I enjoyed every second of my weekend there!!!
Thanks again to u and yr family Ben, I’m back home now but I already miss UK!!!

it’s a pity that you didn’t stop by and say hello.
It would have been good to meet two more forum-ites.

Thank you for clarifying that Stewart and there’s no need to apologise.
I suppose we can all be sensitive about certain matters.
Sadly you’ll have to get to La Ferte, Stuttgart or somewhere similar for the 109.
Hence why I’m planning to go.

I’ll post here when I’ve got a rough plan together.

Before then there’s La Ferte, Old Rhinebeck, Somewhere in Poland and several Old Wardens.

It’s only a clique when there’s work to be done (such as cleaning at Old Warden), otherwise I think we’ve done rather well with forum participation at events such as Merlins over Malta and Shuttleworth evening displays.

Says the man who travels to another continent to watch BoB at Duxford and have a pint in his favourite pub. 😀 😀 😀 😀

Funnily enough I’ve never regarded it as a clique just a load of people from this forum who enjoy meeting up to do aviation related stuff. Everyone’s welcome to come along to forum meetings – they’re posted on the forum for all to see and were happening long before I turned up at one.

ok AiB, no its not mine but loved working with her. thanks to all the restoration team at DX for the 2 best weeks of my life so far, really enjoyed my time with you all.
