Could build a Airco DH10. I have a Wing rib and piece of fabric. Better than another Spitfire!

    Dave.
You never know but TVAL might eventually produce one of those….:):)

Would that make it a rebuild of an original, rather than a repro ?:diablo:.

    Bob T

Well if you did use the wing spar there’d then be a lot more original material in it than a lot of modern Spitfire rebuilds.

Money is no object Mr Shreeve, so a runway extension would be budgeted in to the build.

Although there is part of a wing spar at the collection.

Don’t offer me abuse – it’s not nice. Where there’s life there’s hope. Where there is no life, there is no hope. As long as you breathe, there is hope one way or another that you will escape from your depression. It’s my wish that this comes to pass.

It wasn’t abuse, if I’d have offered that you’d have known it.
What I offered was the the truth–as I see it.
Which is what most people on here are actually doing–on all these threads.
As far as I’m concerned, I’ve been here too long, I’m not ashamed that it’s the way I feel, it’s just the truth.
I’ve no doubt I’ll get the ‘it’s a cowards way out speech’ from some smart-*rse, but if you are considering that, you can stick it up your kazoo, because I’m not interested. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent human being and I’m tired of people offering moral platitudes and glib sh*t on why I feel as I do.

Having suffered with depression on and off most of my adult life and with a Winter which has been most trying (an attack which lasted 38 straight days), I’d quite happily go tomorrow.
I’ve always believed the individual should retain the right to decide.
I’ve seen a bit of death up close in my time too.

    and John

knowing that where there’s life there’s hope.

That’s sh*t of the most crass nature and you know it.

    Thanks Paul.
There were some exquisite bikes there.
Whoever was the beneficiary of that auction they became very rich in a day.
However, I thought it was a shame that the old boy’s collection was being spread to the winds and somewhat rash that those guys were starting them up after they’d stood all that time.
    Great bikes though–and cars.
And I confess that I probably wouldn’t resisted having a play too.

‘Projection’ is when someone ascribes actions to others, which are in fact character traits or unquestioned assumptions about themselves.

    Steven

You think you’re very clever don’t you..?
Well you can have the floor now dear iirritant.

Please be aware that no one other than about three people are reading this anyway and those who do stopped reading your posts some while ago.–so all your efforts haven’t converted anyone yet.

    OK–fair enough.
But what drives you so hard about one subject–the BBC..??
It’s not as if you comment on any other subject.
    Are you a disgruntled ex-employee..?

And I’ll cut back to the agenda you so doggedly pursue.

Your postings indicate far more than a passing interest.
Why don’t you want to tell us what motivates you to continue..??

Something or someone is driving you on.
