Some might also describe it as common sense–something else seemingly completely lacking to day.
To be honest, my patience is exhausted, I can’t be bothered any more to try and reason with people who are essentially f*ck-wits.
I either now just refuse to talk to them and ignore them or avoid them–sometimes the persistent ones get told to f*ck off–I find that very liberating.
I don’t care about any of them, or the pathetic whining noises many of the population today make about seemingly everything.
A pox on all their houses is my view.
The country is run by cretins because a larger group of cretins voted them in–not my problem.
I’ve got off the merry-go around and intend to stay off it.
If you’re reading this thinking my goodness me, he has a bleak and nihilistic outlook on events, you’d be right, I have.

Charlie, yes I think you have a point.
Certainly a lot of young people seem to lack positive male role models. That sounds like a horribly modern expression for someone like me to use but, I find young people who just don’t seem to have any idea about self dicipline, time keeping, pride or any sort of ambition–other than to have loads of money. Then often when they’re offered the first steps on the road to getting a living etc. They don’t want to know.
So it seems like something for nothing is what they really want.
Before anyone comments–no that isn’t universal amongst all young people, but is common.

We just seem to have lost our way somewhere.

Well to me the British seem a very unhappy, aggressive and unfulfilled race.
Certainly to my mind, much more so than our near European neighbours.
I’m never certain why though.
The French, Belgians and Germans I know all seem to have nice places to live, a car and other stuff, but I’m not certain that they are the most important things to them.
They just seem to have the balance better sorted.
I think it might be partly at least, our geographical environment. Millions of us crowded together on this ghastly little island–I prefer continents, they offer more space.
I think the German phrase ‘Inselaffen’ sums it up best.
I also blame our media too though.

My own opinion is that the modern world is a complete ***t.

However, I sort of luckily found a small unmarked corner and stay in that bit.
If and when I’m forced to venture out, I’m largely appalled and often frightened.

I plant these little nuggets purely for your (and others) diversion.
Like my old chum Snapper, I remain largely detached from the events spinning around me.
In my little corner of sunny Bedfordshire life goes on it’s own pace–somewhat more slowly than elsewhere I shouldn’t wonder.

One point I might query is this.
If one listens to the chattering reptiles of the media, one gets a certain idea of the country.
However, out here in the provinces, life bears little relation to that–and we’re only thirty miles from the metropolis.
I worked in London for many years but on a recent visit my overiding thought was it’s a young mans place.
Which is closer to the ‘real’ Britain..??

Surely that would only be a concern if the police service per se was to be privatised. I am not aware that there are any proposals for this. Are there?

I suggest to you that you examine carefully the extent that it’s already been privatised.
We’re not just talking about a few admin jobs here.
I know the spinners among you would like to think that, but people who are under arrest and who’s liberty may well be at stake are now dealt with routinely by G4S staff.
Their emphasis on profit is already slewing the way things are looked at.
You don’t have to believe me, I don’t care if you do or if you don’t.
I don’t care that much about any of it–I don’t even like the Police–in Lincs or anywhere else.

But if you’re a concerned citizen like many of you are–it’s worth having a look at.
