However, I’m basing my judgement of you on your manner on the Vulcan thread on the historic part of this forum. Where despite people who obviously know much more than you, you persist with an argument.
There’s no irony involved at all.

Then you come on here where people are having a chuckle about something that matters not one jot, one way or another and you start pontificating here.

You can indeed judge who you like although how you do that without knowing anything about me I have no idea – in this cases you are so wrong but you carry on judging without knowing anything. Good luck with that.

Nothing wrong with my sense of humour. It has moved with times though rather being stuck in the dark ages.

Couldn’t give a toss. If folks want to the forum look like a Chubby Brown or Bernard Manning joke book that’s their own affair. Some of us have moved into the current century. 🙂

Maybe the Chuckle brothers could start their own joke thread then all the poor quality, second-hand, third rate jokes could be kept together and not pollute the forum. Just a thought.

This troubled year has seen too many losses, some far away, and some , of course, very close to home.

Andy,Yes I did.
Suddenly it didn’t seem worth arguing about.
Patty was a bit upset about his mate–and I confess my patience was a bit thin tonight.
He isn’t involved in aviation at all these days–and he doesn’t read here as far as I know.
He and I have stayed friends though, even though much has changed for both of us these days.
We stay in touch (and still see each other once in a while)–sadly I think we both had to do a bit of growing up.
Older and wiser as they say.

These accidents are complete b*stards–they keep removing good people.
