Why should they let it rest? 96 people died because of other’s incompetence. Why would those guilty of such negligence on such a large scale be allowed to get away with it?

    Derek.
The other night I disagreed with you but I agree 100% with you on this.
Sadly though I doubt those that deserve being pulled into court and then publicly castigated ever will be.
As we all begin to see (and realise) the Police in this country are above the law.
The concept of public service (if it ever existed) is dead and buried.

I recently won a five quid bet with someone over whether the ‘head banger’ who killed Ian Tomlinson would get off. That fiver paid for a large box of tea-bags for my workshop. The ‘Ian Tomlinson Memorial Teabags’ are almost used.
Anyone care to bet against me on this one?

    Andy.

Brother Belcher: I’ve never ridden in a cart pulled by cows before.

    Captain Keene: Bullocks, Mr Belcher!

Brother Belcher: No, I haven’t, honestly.

Baiting? Is that the best you can do? Is that what you come on here for? Baiting other forum members for fun? Jeez…. how sad is that.

The long winter nights must simply fly by.

Yes, you’ve got it. It’s great fun, slightly more diverting than the television. Every so often I strike lucky and get one like you.
And I know you’ll just have to respond.
I can step things up if you like.

Andy, I have very nostalgic memories of my old Road Rocket, never let down by it once, and an added bonus, you could actualy WORK on it yourself.
Betcha can’t do much these days on the modern bikes.
No, give me the “Golden Oldies” anytime.
    Jim.
    Lincoln .7

Modern bikes are capable of being worked on too.
    British bikes are OK.
They all are in their own way and I like all of them.

As far as the Vulcan thread is concerned why don’t you answer the points on that thread instead of in here?

Baiting you here is much more fun.

I now at this distance no longer remember.
I do now that it was superior to ZRX’s big green Kwaka, any Honda that I might own and Bazy’s Triumphs….

Remember Jim, all Brit bikes are cr*p too.
