Birling is near to junction 4 of the M20. It is about 15 miles from Gravesend. When Von Perthes sees this he may well be able to shed some light as it is very near the Shoreham Museum.

The National Trust has banned all photography at some of its properties because of security. Thieves have used it to identify, target items and security systems. (Alarms)

Perhaps the replacement is already flying. See:- http://www.aero-news.net/news/military.cfm?ContentBlockID=5107d830-b4c8-427c-86c5-1dbd188ddbc6&Dynamic=1
Unmanned, stays up longer. Smaller, cheaper sounds like a bean counters dream. 🙁

All jokes aside (and there will be plenty more) it must be the best of moments when you get your own hands on the controls and feel the aeroplane doing what it should. Pay back time for those 4 years. Well done.

Does anyone know of a list of all the shuttle call signs. Presumably only BA use them?

Well done Mr Hiscock. Do we now start a separate thread on whether it is the correct shade of red (or vermillion)? 🙂

Happy birthday Geoff. Although I live only about 20 miles from the museum I haven’t made it there yet. Now at the moment Sundays have turned into 150 mile hospital visits. Hopefully these will ease and I will make a visit this Summer.

Hi Sam,welcome to the forum, apologies for sounding dum,but I can’t open the file!Any pictures you can share with us would be great though!(if only I could find a way to view them!)
    Alan.

It needs a zip file unpacker such as winzip, see http://www.winzip.com/downwzeval.htm
Earlier versions are often on PC mag CDs for free.

On the TV tonight ‘Transport for London’ has suggested moving Marble Arch to a quieter location. Some joker emailed ITN to suggest they move the Dome too – to the middle of the English Channel. Planners. 🙂

    Patty has no worries there!!!

There was a programme on BEEB 2 last night on a Summer’s day in the Cotwolds. People standing drinking warm beer watching MORRIS dancing.
Couldn’t see any familar faces though, unless they were wearing false beards. 😀
