After waiting for years, Sukhoi didn’t disappoint and now we’ll look forward to observing the T-50’s test programme, scrutinising every detail…
Watch this space folks…
we couldn’t have hoped for better outcome!!!
well, I don’t speak French, but #15 has 4.5m dimension and word missile in description.
isn’t R-73 less than 3m long?
Just dimensions, location and look of ot suggest AA weapon to me. I hope you guys are wrong, and it is a missile bay.
Electronic sensors of some kind, perhaps related to a 360-degree radar, perhaps related to countermeasures, active cancellation, or the ability to digitally link with other aircraft . . . but for sure something electronic and not a weapons bay.
I see it as an optional “stealth slot/hard point” added to design for current and future electronic devices or missiles.
Location is definitely capable of havy load, as well as anything else, which imo showes numerous possibilities.
Even if its empty right now, it will soon be loaded and active 🙂
smart move in any case.
great stuff, such beautiful birds, Shame F-23 didn’t happen.
I’m so happy they all differ as much as they do.
Love those comparison pictures!!
here is couple more from me.

So much hate dude, i read your posts since Pak fa flew, and it seems you lost bunch of money in a bet that it would crash on its first flight.
Pak Fa is natural progress succeeding Flanker family, next thing in long line of things. Maybe the the last major manned Sukhoi fighter. This new platform is going to be base to house technology of next few decades. Of coarse its not going to finish like mig1.44 or Berkut. Its not a technology demonstrator. Its a new platform, actual approved design and you need to accept it as such. Not as a mythical russian super fighter. There are 2-3 already built not by accident, but with purpose. Just because its behind with schedule with F-35 doesn’t mean it won’t be as good or better. There is good reason for later release. Its called $$, -not brain power and skill of design biro.
you are so sure about everything, which is really annoying. Proves one thing though- that you can see things only one way, and you can hear only one logic (yours)
no sence discussing ..
as for inlets.. please, can’t pick on anything else..
Lets see,
A-5
Mig-25
Mig-31
F-15
F14
Tornado
Su-27 family
Mig-29 family
they all share same general shape of inlets, no? Its a logical progression in design.
No reason at all to call it F-22 look alike/ripoff.
Its trully a nice and different airplane, unlike so many fan-drawings that looked way more like YF-22 or F-22.
It looks like mix of BERKUT and YF-23 to me , if anything. ..
GREAT JOB !!!
BEAUTIFUL !!!!!
At least nobody can call it F-22 ripoff. It has some nice lines and mean attitude!!!
by then I might see way more than two vertical stabilizers :-)))))))
cheers
i’m having vino til i see pictures!!!! I don’t care when !
man, I hope all this is credible and it is in the air !!
I waited for this day since the nineties.
I hope it looks something in between these two from my personal mini airforce 🙂

cheers!!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone post GOOGLE EARTH file with location marked where this first flight is taking place please.
I know its not real time, but i’d still be interested to see the runway, and what else is arround it.
thanks in advance
