It’s looking as though Corbyn being elected as leader of the party, will be the main story on TV, on the radio, and in the
press for the next few days.
Could he lead his party to an election win ? Quite possibly, and for no other reason than many people wanting change.
A change to what though ?

You didn’t mention you had seen us!!
You forgot the anorak and wool hat, us wrinklies have to keep warm. Oh and the equipment trolley and step ladder. Thinking of getting one of those mobility scooters.
Do you wear a flying suit covered in aircraft patches, and an aluminium camera case covered in stickers ? 🙂
How often I’ve remarked to my wife, when perched at some convenient place watching the Eastbourne show, how few heads turn skywards when WW2 aircraft are displaying. Simply no interest, no curiosity from the mainly young teenagers and those perhaps in their early twenties.
I think most of us have noticed that, especially at free seaside airshows. They are only interested in the fast noisy aircraft.
Then again, some of the aircraft are so far away, you need binoculars to see them
Jet Provost over Rayleigh at 3:50pm heading west(ish) towards NW presumably ?
Really ? !!!
I had the following message today:
Have you picked up that the Friends Of Stow Maries have been wound up? The aerodrome is run now by Trustees – I guess that’s a condition of the various grants they have had. They have been trying to integrate the Trust and the Friends but the Trustees have pulled the plug on the discussions and disbanded FOSMA. I’m not entirely clear how volunteering will work if at all, but FOSMA will have no role any more and our subs are being returned
Anybody know any more ? I don’t know how long ago this happened.
Maybe they want it run on a more professional basis, but they surely don’t want to alienate the volunteers ?
What Mk is it supposed to be ?
This brought a smile to my face. Maybe not too far from the truth though ?

Mildenhall (until it is closed) with mostly Tankers, and special ops people
Lakenheath with F-15s
Fairford with various aircraft visiting.
I’m sure others will give you a more detailed report
I think the majority of us are well aware of that Tim.
Although the secrecy surrounding his condition and location will continue to generate speculation in the press.
I of course realise it’s being done to protect him and his family from the tabloid press, and TV media
This doesn’t help though.
The Mid Sussex Times… “..Police said Mr Hill’s condition is improving but are unable to say whether or not he remains in hospital…”
I would say that he is a very lucky individual. I’m not sure what happens next though. Manslaughter charges? Will they throw the book at him?
Not a very nice thing to say. It will only result in the thread being locked again.
I doubt there would have been any suitcases in the passenger cabin ?
In their defence: As the aircraft was a little over half full, there would have probably been space to have brief cases and
laptops on the empty seat next to you. (if that is allowed for take off ?)
Apologies for jumping the gun, but it seems Sky very quickly changed their headline. Either that or I mis-read it.
http://news.sky.com/story/1549996/shoreham-pilot-to-be-questioned-by-police
“…The pilot in the Shoreham Airshow crash has reportedly been discharged from hospital and is to be questioned “as soon as possible…”.
“..Andrew Hill faces questioning “as soon as possible” after being released from an undisclosed specialist hospital…”
Certainly do. It seems to be a quick change of headline.
Just mentioned on Sky News too.
