I’m told the BBMF (two spits and the Lanc) are in Southend airport. came in
Wednesday.
As far as I can see they weren’t scheduled to be there. A weather diversion
perhaps , were they supposed to be at Manston ?
I little before my time, great pictures though.
I do have some pictures from a show at Wethersfield in the early 60’s.
Including a CAF F-104 that was leaking fuel all over the place
A year ago, he managed to hit a runway sign on landing at North Weald.
A couple of years previous he set light to his aircraft at Southend’s self
refuelling pumps.
