Yes I realize that :), I just imagined that any aircraft flying in, had to be there on Friday. Assuming that there will still
be airshow aircraft arriving on the Saturday morning. Isn’t that the case at the other shows ?

I sympathise. The commentary at Eastbourne this year was banal and continuously intrusive. I would take the option of the ‘naughty field’ and ignore your critics.

Although you could get away from it. Or very nearly at Eastbourne.

I wonder if anyone has ever approached Duxford, for their take on commentators ?

Their reply would no doubt be along the lines of, “Nobody has complained, so that must mean that the majority of people are happy with the status quo”

Not having been to Duxford on an airshow day for about 30yrs, do they fill the gaps with loud music ?

I would have thought they’d taken the opportunity to give the U-2 a bit of a dusting.
Unless they intend to hang it up so high, that nobody can see the topside ?

You and me too. Not so much flying of course, and you miss some of the main attractions.
Much more civilised though.
