But they will actively go after you if you are dead, as in Jimmy Saville’s case… Sorry, but if you can rightly find Saville guilty and seek recompense for his victims, you CAN AND SHOULD go after this dementia suffering Lord Janner scumbag and his monies, and jail him. So yet another one is off the hook. This goes way back. It’s no secret that a certain Prime Minister was involved
in a cover up. It is also claimed the Government is refusing to publish at least four other files on historic child abuse
because it is worried about what information may come out before May’s General Election.

I remember when the revelations about Savile first became public knowledge, following the documentary about him.
So many people were still saying that it couldn’t be true, and that he was a lovely person.

The names of those involved can be found on the Internet, and are common knowledge to many of those in the press
as well as current politicians. It involves those who were right at the top in politics, covered up by high ranking officers
in the police force.

It’s a volcano waiting to erupt.

I’ll watch some football matches all the way through, if I am at a loss for anything else to do.
Or if it’s a team I like to watch.
I still record them first though. I can’t stand listening to the various “experts” and “pundits”, giving their
opinions of how a game or race is likely to pan out.

If Hamilton is going to win virtually every Grand Prix this year, It doesn’t take an expert to predict
that viewing figures will take a nose dive.

I do find it amusing that some people “fast forward” F1 races, I mean really? .

I’ve done that for the last few years. You can cut out all of the pre-race waffle too.
Watch the first dozen or so laps, to sort out who has survived the inevitable collisions, and who
is likely to be at the front for the next 50 odd laps. Then watch at 12x speed,
stopping if there are any incidents. Then back to normal speed for the last couple of laps.

I find watching a whole race at normal speed, too brain numbing.

The above also works for watching England play football. You can watch a whole game in
about 20mins 🙂

I remember one weekend when my ATC squadron was flying at Marshalls, a brand spanking new C-130 flew
in, with gleaming metallic finish. Ready for it’s RAF colour scheme.

You have to wonder, that given a similar set of circumstances back in the late 1930s, if the Spitfire
and Hurricane would ever have been built ?
I can just imagine the brass hats arguing over what these aircraft should be capable of.

Well that bloke above works for Dassault Aviation, a company that produces an aircraft, the Rafale, that has been in direct competition with the F-35…

I would hardly have thought the F-35 to be in competition with the Rafale.
