looking at the pic above and from memory, please correct me if i am wrong, the Canberra is now in Malta and most of the others are at East Midlands?

Probably right, as on the video I believe we only saw the Whirlwind, Shackleton and Meteor.

So who actually owns these aircraft, and what are their intentions ?
Do they think they are going to dramatically appreciate in value ?

There’s a few aircraft there. Or there were.

It wasn’t a bad programme. Giving a pretty good overview of the airfield.

I did however find this from 1987. A scanned print from Lakenheath.

Alan, that would be great, may be his ex before the wife, she used to fly everywhere with him, the current one hated it

Having a job laying my hands on it at the moment. It was on one of my many videos, most of which I copied to DVD.
It might have been on one I hadn’t copied. I shall carry on looking.

I have a short video (somewhere) of Gary , and I presume his wife, getting his plane ready for a display at Lakenheath
    circa 1991-2.

What did surprise me in the last debate is that none of the parties turned on Sturgeon when she mentioned Trident.

Maybe as they might have to cosy up to her, in the event of a hung parliament ?

A most excellent plan Moggy, that’ll keep those pesky teenage mums out!

That would be an improvement 🙂 (only kidding, honest)

I know the argument that kids are the future, and should be encouraged to visit museums…blah, blah, blah
When we visited last October, the day was spoilt by having screaming children in virtually every hall, and in the restaurant.
There was a party of ATC cadets who seemed vaguely interested in what they were looking at, and a party of school
kids who seemed totally uninterested in the displays. Something you don’t seem to get at Duxford. Maybe it’s the
    catchment area ?
While it’s free though, you will get people treating it as a place where they can let their children run amok, while they sit
and have a cup of tea.
I of course realize that if it were only aviation enthusiasts visiting aircraft museums, visitor numbers would be pretty low.

As support for the UKIP appears to be dissolving, what is the source of this suggestion?

    Moggy

Listening to what people say on the radio and TV when interviewed.
