I am starting to think that the BBC should find a different funding model, as it has gone way past the point where it is a public service broadcaster.
This has been talked about for a while, but nothing is due to change before 2020 at the earliest.

The only similar name (which I imagine you have already found ?), is for a Claude Joshua Mason, who died in 1947.
