I watched an excellent biopic last night (Sky Cinema) Love and Mercy about the life of beach boys legend Brian Wilson if you like biopics or music history in general you’ll love this film as always up to the individual taste…….:cool:

I must get to see this. Pet Sounds was the first LP I ever bought. Brian Wilson was one of the top song writers of the last century.

I take all of my photos in Raw mode.
I transfer them to a temporary folder, on a dedicated hard drive just for photos.
Go through deleting those which are out of focus, duplicates etc. Then rename them
The remainder go into Lightroom to be processed
Followed by exporting to another folder as Jpegs.
I then either transfer them to a folder for the year they were taken, labelled to where they were taken.
In that folder I will also have a sub folder of the original RAW files.
Aviation photos go into dedicated Aviation folder. Labelled again as to where they were taken.
Some pictures I will upload to Photobucket. I will also backup to an external drive, in a USB docking station.

This may sound very convoluted, but it is quicker to do than it sounds. It also makes it easy to find photos

Statements like this really peeve me, would people like me turning up at their home and demanding to walk around and photograph their possessions as if I had some divine right to? Because that is what it is tantamount to doing.

Cookies can be a problem. Some websites try to dump loads of them onto your computer.

Only just missed hitting that tree head on !!

My suggestion is to hang onto it. It will, in the fullness of time acquire a rarity and curiousity value that will make it tradeable on Ebay. I’ll take a punt and open the bidding with 10 pence.

I still have my original blue hardback passport. When I eventually get around to renewing my present one, it will go inside that.
